Local  EMR Server

In a local installation Faxbox plugs into any available Ethernet jack and power outlet, it need not be near the EMR server or existing fax line.  Faxes from the EMR server are passed to the faxbox then sent to the cloud through an exncrypted connection for faxing.  Inbound faxes come in from the cloud and are passed to the Faxbox, then passed to the EMR server.

   


Hosted EMR Server

EMRFaxbox works great in most hosted installations*.  Just like in a local installation, the EMRFaxbox plugs into any available Ethernet jack and power outlet.  After consultation with the EMR hosting provider, the Faxbox will ship configured to connect to the hosted server.  All fax transfers to and from the Faxbox are encrypted for security.
